Steffie's International Champion title has been confirmed by the FCI now!

Finally our homephone is working again!

I will start updating with all the news that I haven't been able to write about as soon as possible!

Bree is currently in the lead of Swedens Top winning whippet, we are so proud of her!

She has 8 BOB so far this year + several group placements.
2 of them resulted in BIS at Sighthound Specialities & 1 at a Whippetclub show speciality, all with large entries.

We have one boy left for sale, to a special home, from our last litter.

We went to an International show in Jönköping monday June 21st and did very well.
"Sudden", from Bree's litter last year, won junior class, new pictures of him on his page.
Stavros won champion class and later was BD with a Cacib.
Bree was BB. Lexi was 2nd in junior class and ended up BB 4th. Bree won BOB and was 5th in the group ring. Burnt Sienna had BOB breeders group.

June 7th

May 25th

New pictures of the puppies, they have their gallery here now. They are growing and doing fine.

May 17th

Lacey had her puppies May 14th, we have 5 boys & 2 girls and they will be ready to start moving July 9th.

I will get some more pictures up as soon as possible.

April 15th

We went to the vet last week who confirmed that Lacey is in whelp, so she will be having puppies sometime around May 14th and they will be ready to move the second weekend in July if all goes as planned.

At a Whippet club show on April 3rd with 72 adult whippets entered, judged by Ingrid Kark-Heiermann from Germany kennel High on Emotion,
Stavros won Best In Show and completed his Champion titles.
He is now Junior World Winner -08, Swedish & Finnish Champion Burnt Sienna Cutting Edge.

Lexi was 2nd in Junior class and placed BB 4th. Bree 2nd in Champion class.

March 16th

March 7th

Our first show of the year turned out to be a successful one!
I took the dogs to a Sighthound club show in Strängnäs last saturday, the 27th of February where I showed Pigalle (Bree's son) in juniorclass and he came 2nd. Stavros placed 5th in a large open class. I showed Tiger and he won champion class and ended up BOS.

Now to the bitches, Lexi was out for the first time in official class, junior, and she won! Then it was Bree's turn, she won champion class and ended up BOB!!! Lexi ended up BB 5 and BIS 2 Junior. Burnt Sienna also won BIS Breeders group and "drumroll" Bree won BEST IN SHOW!!!

The breed judge was Carol Neale from UK, kennel Stormalong whippets.
And in the final ring Tanya Ahlman-Stockmari from Finland for Juniors & Breeders group. Mr Ake Cronander from Sweden of kennel Albicans whippets judged Best In Show adults.

Burnt Sienna whippets had a great year 2009! Here is a small summery.

Stavros ended up Top Male in Sweden, he took the lead from the very first weekend of shows in January and kept this position all year through.

Sotis ended up Top Brood bitch, I'm so happy that she earned this since her own show career was ended too soon caused by an accident which changed her life forever.

Bree ended up 3rd Top bitch and made a great comeback after having her litter. She was BOB 5 times & BOS 2 times & BIS 3 times at all club levels this year, all but 1 BOB was after having her litter this summer.

Tiger ended up 3rd Top male and is co-owned with Madde at kennel Blazing Keys.

Burnt Sienna ended up 3rd Top Breeder.
