This weekend the Swedish Whippet club had a speciality show in Gnesta. Judge was Whippet breeder Tamara Howarth from France of kennel Taraly. 101 whippets were entered this year.

We had a very succesful day, Bree winning Best In Show! Stavros won puppy class 6-9 months. Tiger was 3rd BD and Hugo 4th. Bree's father "Latte" Ch Mac Bells Citizen Kane was BOS, quite a family day.
New pictures on all the above dogs pages, some older ones put up aswell.

My dogs have been fortunate at this show earlier years too. Sotis won BIS 2005, Steffie 2006 & Bree 2008! I was attending the AWC Nationals in Kansas City 2007 so we couldn't contend that year.

Former years BIS winners relaxing in bed yesterday with this years winner...Bree, Sotis & Steffie.

April 2nd

We went to the vet today who confirmed that Lacey is in whelp!!
The puppies will be born in the beginning of May and will be ready to move the first week in July if all goes as planned. Go to Puppies page for more info on the parents!

Sotis was at her last check-up at the Animal Hospital yesterday and they were pleased with her progress. So now she doesn't have to go back there anymore and we are ALL happy for that!

And a new picture of Bree on the table at Crufts.

Several new walking leads, you will find them on the Koppel page.

Bree did very well placing second in Open class, a big tough class against several champion bitches, we are so proud of our young girl.

And pictures of both Steffie & Bree from AWC Kansas City 2007 that I haven't published before, scroll down a bit on Bree's page. Also a few new pictures on Lacey and Stavros pages.

February 30th

Stavros made his debut in the ring last weekend at a local kennelclub show. He had never even had a showlead on him before going in the ring but he did great.
The breed was judged by Christina Roseen-Lundström, a well known Afghan breeder, she also judged the group and placed Stavros BOB puppy AND Group winner of Sighthound puppies.

He went on to compete for BIS under judge Hans Almgren, who placed him at the top! Only 4½ months old and competing against pups from the age of 4-12 months. There were 365 puppies of all breeds entered at the show, quite a debut for this sweet little boy!

Several new walking leads, you will find them on the Koppel page.

January 18th

Several new walking leads, you will find them on the Koppel page.

And a few new links.

We started the new year with going to Gothenburg for a few days of showing.

Tiger was Best male and received a CC at the Sighthound show, so now he has 2 CC's.

Steffie was 2nd best bitch with R-Cacib on one of the days.

Have put up a few pictures of Stavros at 14 weeks.

I took Sotis to the Animal Hospital yesterday again for another check up and they were very pleased with her progress.
She is slowly walking on her front left leg again, looking a bit strange but we don't care, we are so happy that she is moving forward!

Here is an X-ray taken yesterday, she won't make it through airport security without a written note from the vet in the future, look at all that metal inside her!
